The Worthy Heights neighborhood is located within the Northeast District of Fort Worth, Texas and sits just north of Downtown Fort Worth.
The area was annexed first as part of “Southside” in 1887.” In 1907 it became known as the Rogers Addition when an east-west street grid plan was established there by James H. Rodgers (born January 14, 1861). Then from 1909 to 1915, ownership changed hands many times until Cordonia Company developed a streetcar suburb on what would become known as “Worth Heights.”
