History of Echo Heights a Neighborhood in Fort Worth, TX

Echo Heights is a neighborhood in Fort Worth, TX that was originally developed by the P.A. Gaston Construction Company as part of their larger project to develop the entire area from Northside Drive to Clear Creek and then eastward into Cowtown (the latter being south of what would now be Interstate 30).

The company had begun developing it with streetscapes reminiscent of New York’s Upper East Side when World War I broke out. This caused construction on this section of the development to stop for some time while Mr. Gaston focused his efforts on wartime production such as building Liberty Ships at his shipyard in Philadelphia PA

At Echo Heights, there are many wonderful homes that have been updated over the years since they were first built.

Many of the homes have been updated with modern amenities such as garages,

open floor plans, and more storage space than they originally had to accommodate our family’s needs. Some are even customized for a specific need like an in-law suite or someone with special care needs which require accessibility modifications

The neighborhood is also conveniently located near schools, shopping centers, dining options and many other wonderful places that make living at Echo Heights so desirable!
