The Central Arlington neighborhood is home to the flagship campus of Texas A&M University at Dallas. The area also has a number of historic neighborhoods, including Sunnyside Acres and Old East Dallas among others.
There are several popular restaurants in this area such as Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, which offers Tex-Mex food with an upscale twist, as well as Southern favorites like gumbo and po’boys; Clive Bar & Grill, known for its modern design and delicious seafood options; or Cantina Laredo, offering authentic Mexican cuisine served from inside a 1920s cantina originally built here by the Roosevelts during their days in office.
