There are many annual events that take place in the Woodlawn Lake neighborhood. One of the most notable events is The Bicentennial Bike Ride which happens on November 23rd every year and starts at Alamo Plaza.
This event raises money for various charities, including organizations such as Kidd’s Kids, San Antonio Food Bank Foundation, Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service-San Marcos Campus, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Greater Houston Chapter and American Cancer Society Southwest Division. Annual Events: The Bicentennial Bike Ride takes place every November 23rd starting from Alamo Plaza and ending back there again. It begins with a bike ride through downtown then proceeds into the San Antonio suburban neighborhoods.
The Bicentennial Bike Ride raises money for a variety of charities, including Kidd’s Kids, the Food Bank Foundation and Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service-San Marcos Campus while giving participants an opportunity to explore Woodlawn Lake in San Antonio TX.
The neighborhood is also home to many annual events such as the Alamo Heights Fall Festival which typically takes place on October 17th every year at Greystone Mansion (address: 230 W North Loop Rd). This event celebrates all things fall–pumpkins, hayrides and more!–and features live music from local musicians as well!
