The Ybor City neighborhood in Tampa is a great place to visit for the Annual events. Here are some of the annual events:
October 12-14: Tampa Bay Comic Con. This is a three day event with comic book artists, writers, and publishers on hand to promote their work. There are also celebrity guests from the world of comics and science fiction entertainment as well as related merchandise available for purchase.
November 29 – December 31: Gasparilla Pirate Festival. This four day festival celebrates all things pirate including concerts in the park, family activities throughout Ybor City; parades through downtown Tampa; plenty of food vendors serving up pirates’ favorite dishes like spicy chicken wings & buccaneer pizza
December 16-31: The Nutcracker Ballet at Raymond James Stadium (Tampa). Performances by professional companies from Moscow’s Bolshoi Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre.
