Westbrooke is a neighborhood in West Melbourne, FL. While most of the events are on the west side of Orlando (the same as all other neighborhoods), there are still quite a few things to do and see that only cater to this Florida city’s residents:
Solar Company West Melbourne FL
-The YMCA hosts an annual summer picnic every July for kids. It includes games like duck races and water balloon tosses along with more primitive games like horseshoes or capture the flag. There will be food available such as hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, ice cream bars, popcorn balls and cotton candy while supplies last. This event is free but you must register your children ahead of time so they can get their own lunch pouch containing a sandwich, chips or fruit and a drink.
-Every Friday in September from 11am to 12pm there is an annual Trick or Treating event on the west side of Orlando which includes trick or treating at all participating homes (most are decorated with Halloween themed decorations) as well as games for kids like limbo contests, face painting and more! This event occurs rain or shine until October 31st so you don’t have to worry about any canceled festivities due to weather conditions.
-Westbrooke also has their own West Melbourne Country Club where they host events such as weddings, anniversaries, graduations and business functions. They even offer golf lessons if you want to learn how this sport works but haven’t had time yet.
-There is also a West Melbourne Kiwanis Club and an annual Easter Egg Hunt on the west side of Orlando. These events are both held at the county park which has been decorated to include many different activities for children including inflatable bouncy houses and slides, hay rides, challenges such as corn hole or tug o’war, face painting booths, games like ring tosses or horse shoes and more! The egg hunt typically takes place around 11am but you can show up any time after that since there’s plenty to do while waiting your turn!
