Annual Events in Old Oaks a Neighborhood in Columbus, OH

Old Oaks neighborhood is home to the annual Old Oaks Trail Festival and Parade, which celebrates its 31st year in 2018 on Saturday, April 21st. The event features a parade through the streets of central Columbus with floats made by neighboring children’s classes, community organizations, and businesses; booths along Broad Street that feature crafts for sale as well as demonstrations from local artists; an interactive fun zone with live music performances throughout the day near Main & High Streets; food vendors featuring delicious cuisine from all around Ohio including barbecue, pizza, pasta dishes plus more ethnic foods too!

In addition to these activities, there will be over 80 exhibitors showcasing everything under the sun at this free family-friendly festival: arts and crafts projects for kids (ages six years old or younger), arts and crafts projects for adults, jewelry, pottery, paintings, photography and more.

The annual Old Oaks Trail Festival is a community initiative of the Central Ohio Mayors Association (COMA) that celebrates Columbus’ diverse neighborhoods by highlighting artisans from all over central Ohio. This event features artists of all ages; many youth groups such as Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts are also in attendance to sell their wares. The festival takes place along Broad Street near Main & High Streets on Saturday, April 21st starting at 11:00 am with festivities lasting until noon while galleries remain open late into the night after the parade has ended.
