In the Hyde Park neighborhood of Tampa, there are a number of annual events that bring in visitors from all over Hillsborough County and beyond.
The most notable event is the “Tampa Heights Festival” which showcases three days with live music on multiple stages, food trucks galore, family-friendly activities to entertain your kids (and adults!), and more!
One less known but equally exciting event is the monthly “A Taste of Hyde Park”, where a different eatery offers their newly created dishes for $20 per person. This month’s featured restaurant was Wasabi Ginger Asian Cuisine who served up a variety of chicken sushi rolls such as: California Roll, Dragon Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, General Tao Chicken Roll & Philadelphia Rolls; as well as sushi rolls with a sweet twist like: Red Velvet Roll, Caramelized Pineapple Tempura Roll & the Elvis Presley (banana wrapped in crispy coconut).
