Hammock Lakes West is an enclave of homes in the Hammock Lakes Subdivision, just east of Palm Bay Road and north of Singleton Avenue. The community has 11 neighborhoods with a total population of approximately 1800 residents living on 1400 acres. There are two lakes within this subdivision as well as three golf courses. This neighborhood offers some great annual events such as:
– A parade during Memorial Day Weekend that features patriotic floats and music for all to enjoy.
– An Independence Day celebration at one or more parks with food vendors, games, contests, live entertainment by military bands from across Florida, flyovers by various aircraft including the US Navy Blue Angels Demonstration Team.
– One event per month where groups get together to clean and beautify the neighborhood.
– A Halloween celebration with trick or treat for children, costume contests (adult & child), haunted houses, pumpkin carving contest, hayrides, and more!
