Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo

Alias the ‘Southwestern Exposition & Livestock Show’, the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo is the Fort Worth city’s, and probably nation’s oldest continuously-running rodeo and livestock show. Since 1896, this event has been held in mid-January every year making it a tradition in Fort Worth. The Stock Show is a non-profit organization that has helped raise millions of dollars in scholarships and grants throughout its tenure. The event continues to raise thousands of dollars on an annual basis, with the proceeds assisting future livestock and agriculture management leaders.

Spring Gallery Night

The Spring Gallery Night is a bi-annual event organized by the Fort Worth Art Dealers Association (FWADA). Here, guests are treated to Fort Worth’s special cultural richness and visual arts from noon to around nine. Taking a stroll through the stunning galleries, retail businesses, museums, artefacts and area restaurants gives you a closer insight into what Fort Worth is really about. This event is always free and open to the public.

Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival

If you are big on arts then this right here is one event that you should not miss out on. The Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival brings together thousands of spectators and art lovers, giving them the chance to experience the sights, tastes and sounds of the finest and highest ranked arts in Texas. Main St. encompasses over 27 city blocks. During this special event, this part of town puts over 200 jury-selected regional and national artists to the spotlight. In addition to this, approximately 140 musical groups (chart-topping) are featured. Get to enjoy culinary meals from all over the state as you get lost in all the splendid artwork!

Sundance Square Christmas tree Lighting

Fort Worth has a special way to kick start the festive season! Every year, the city welcomes guest and residents alike to Sundance Square and together they light up the Christmas tree. This event features music, decorations glittering lights and of course, Santa Claus!
