There are a number of annual events in Clearwater’s Downtown. The Clearwater Jazz Holiday, presented by the City of Clearwater and sponsored in part with funds from Tampa Bay Outreach Council (TBOC), is a three-day jazz festival that takes place on November 20th through 22nd at Coachman Park.

Suncoast Super Boat Grand Prix Race Track – April
Clearwater Jazz Holiday takes place on November 20th through 22nd at Coachman Park. This three-day jazz festival is sponsored by the City of Clearwater, Tampa Bay Outreach Council, and partially funded with money from TBOC. The event features a series of smooth jazz performances downtown during lunchtime hours Friday to Sunday.
The Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival has been happening for over 30 years now! It’s always fun and exciting as many hot air balloons are released into the sky full of spectators that line up along Bayshore Road in anticipation. The festivities include live entertainment all day long, food vendors, and activities for kids such as face painting and kites too! There’s also a nightly Glow Parade, where balloons are lit up with LED lights and set loose to dance in the sky.
Whataburger Fun Day features free Whataburgers for all, as well as games like inflatables that people of all ages can enjoy! The Tampa Bay Photo Expo is an annual event showcasing over 100 photographers from around the world who capture images of life’s journeys through various lenses. This year they’re adding workshops on photo techniques and post-processing software too!
Suncoast Super Boat Grand Prix Race Track – April 27 to 29th 2019: Clearwater is home to one of only four super boat race tracks in North America hosting drivers from across the globe competing for speed records at speeds nearing 200mph atop a hydroplane.
